[00:00:04] Randee: And this is a little teaser of the Dark Moon Café, a cozy podcast about astrology and life.

[00:00:13] Khasanti: So what are we doing here, Randee? What is the Dark Moon Café and what’s going to be happening in it?

[00:00:21] Randee: Yes, excellent questions. So once a month, when the moon is dark, we are hoping to come together to share stories from our lives as we live them through the lens of astrology, as well as taking you all on a deeper dive through different topics that we come up with each month. And, you know, we just love the moon and all of its cycles and all of its coziness. And we just could not think of a better name than the Dark Moon Café.

[00:01:03] Khasanti: So yeah, we had been thinking about doing a podcast for quite a long time now. And even though we didn’t plan it this way, when we finally sat down to talk about making it happen for real, it was right around the time of the Jupiter Cazimi in Cancer back in June of 2025.

[00:01:15] Khasanti: This just seemed like a really good omen to us, particularly given that we want this to feel like a super cozy, warm space where you get to have an inspiring astro hang with us while sipping on your favorite beverage — felt just very Jupiter Cazimi in Cancer.

[00:01:41] Khasanti: So Randee, why don’t you just tell us a little tiny bit about yourself just to kind of let people know what you’re about.

[00:01:46] Randee: Okay, wonderful. So I’ve been a practicing astrologer for about three years now. And I’m just so excited to be here doing this with you. My Leo Moon is very excitable. And I just really am so stoked to talk with you about astrology, to get together each month and just to see what emerges. You know, I think there’s somewhat of an alchemical mystery that we are both stepping into. And I’m just excited to see what emerges. So here we are.

[00:02:44] Randee: I will also share that I did study formally through Nightlight Astrology. And actually, that’s where you and I met under the amazing tutelage of our teacher Adam Elenbaas. But yes, that is where we met and my life is forever changed by it.

[00:03:01] Khasanti: We fell in love with astrology together!

[00:03:03] Randee: Yes, yes, we did. Yes, we did. So tell us a bit about yourself.

[00:03:10] Khasanti: Alright. Alright. So I’m also a consulting astrologer, also as previously noted, trained through Nightlight Astrology. And I don’t have any Leo placements, but I have a lot of Gemini placements. So I’m also very excitable in a more Geminian way. I love just getting to speak the language of astrology with other people who are just as obsessed about it as I am. I love Randee to pieces and always just love getting to talk to you. And I’m excited that we’re going to have this space once a month to just talk about astrology and see where the adventure takes us.

[00:04:02] Khasanti: Yeah. So do you want to just tell the people what they can expect from the Dark Moon Café?

[00:04:08] Randee: Yeah, so episode one, of course, is going to be our official launch and in each episode, we’re hoping to explore the current transits, maybe share some personal stories, and then go into a deeper dive onto a particular topic. And we just, of course, had to start with the moon. We both get excited about the idea of talking about the moon.

[00:04:40] Khasanti: Yeah, you may have picked up by now that we’re both pretty huge moon stans.

[00:04:44] Randee: Yes. Yes.

[00:04:45] Khasanti: Yeah, I’m super just fascinated to dig more deeply, Randee, into learning about how you work with lunar topics in your life, and how that goes in client consultations, and just really kind of get into it with you.

[00:05:07] Randee: Absolutely. And just, you know, I would love to hear from you about why the moon is so magical to you, what you love about it, what inspires you about it.
